What is Stream Head Brands - Core?
The brand Jazz is the superpower of every Pakistani. As your Digital Lifestyle Partner, Jazz is playing an integral role in making Pakistan Digital! Jazz is bringing many Products, Services & Solutions which will help a normal Pakistani be digital and fulfil their ambitions and be a better version of themselves. We are looking for a Stream Head Brands - Core who is willing to challenge the status quo by taking calculated risks and evolving the area of Brand Management.
As the person responsible for managing one of the biggest brands of Pakistan, it will be very important for this person to identify the right metrics to utilize marketing communication management as well as the integrated marketing mix for maximum effectiveness.
The Stream Head Brands - Core will have to play an integral role in identifying and then utilizing the right mix of elements and touchpoints to assist in the achievement of the overall brand strategy and objectives. The Stream Head Brands - Core needs to think beyond placement of a conventional spot/insertion etc. but focus on how to create the right brand fit and connect with the intended audience. The thought process needs to be beyond creating communication and focusing on creating audience engagement leading towards brand loyalty.
The Stream Head Brands - Core will be part of a customer focused marketing team and collaborate across the wider team including Brand, Media & IMX, Operations, Pricing & Segments, Sourcing etc. There will be a brand partner agency to lead and inspire to achieve these objectives. The incumbent’s focus will be not just on the brand insights but also the business implications along with market factors, constantly evaluating the best approach.
The role reports directly to the Head of Brands and has 3 people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 19 team members.
What Stream Head Brands – Core does?
- Lead the development and execution of Brand Strategy based on the Business Objectives & Strategy
- Focus on the core streams like Superpowered Bundles Portfolio, Prepaid, PAYG, Regional & GSM Play etc
- Ensure excellence in all brand related activity, while continually challenging the status quo to drive actionable insights which will fuel our brand’s growth
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data driven decisions to optimize brand strategy and campaigns
- Keep upto date with industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to continuously improve brand indicators
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends and opportunities and align all marketing activities accordingly
- Manage Brand’s presence across various touchpoints specifically digital/social to create relevance within the intended audience
- Build the team for performance and growth
- Budget management along with Agency performance
- Ability to manage creative partners and their management, while developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both external and internal
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with the brand strategy
- Quarterly/Annual Reviews with insights and clear-cut action plans

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Stream Head Brands - Core?
- Experience and Educational requirements
- Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent
- Soft skills and technical skills required
- You are experienced in working closely and effectively with teams and stakeholders. We need people who know the value of building relationships and the ability to support at all levels of an organization
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills are required
- Strong skills in critical thinking, data analysis and identifying and communicating marketing and audience-led insights
- Core aspects underpinning all skills: consumer empathy, creativity, analytical thinking, rigour, sharp and inspiring communication skills, complex project management skills, business planning, as well as working within an agile environment
- A business thinker, who has deep understanding of 3 C’s (Consumer, Customer, Competition), trends, practices, information, and insights impacting the business, enabling sound decisions to be made.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Power-point
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant Brand Management experience
- In-depth understanding of digital & conventional marketing channels and their application to build brand awareness and customer engagement
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy
- Experience of working in a tech/start-up/Digital and Lifestyle app will be added bonus and shall be preferred
