Technical Executive - CSR:
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Executive - CSR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing stability, performance, and reliability of our software applications with the client. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing software systems or accelerate them to the development team, as well as implement updates and enhancements to meet evolving user needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementation
- Prepare hardware and software for implementation.
- Implement hardware in customer premises.
- Provide network design for customer premises.
- Troubleshoot network issues during implementation if required.
2. Issue Analysis and Debugging:
- Investigate and analyze reported issues in existing software applications and apply pre-defined fixes.
- Use methodologies to identify the root cause of problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explain the cause and impact of issues on overall system functionality to get a fix.
3. Bug Fixing and Patching:
- Implement defined solutions to resolve software defects and bugs.
- Apply defined updates to address identified issues promptly.
- Ensure that fixes are tested before the customer is intimated.
4. Performance Optimization:
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in software and/or networks.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize code and improve overall system performance.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to proactively address potential issues.
5. Security Maintenance:
- Stay current on security vulnerabilities and threats relevant to the software.
- Implement security patches and updates to mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with security experts to conduct periodic security audits.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all software maintenance activities.
- Document troubleshooting steps, bug fixes, and patches for future reference.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
7. Communication:
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including development teams, QA teams, and end-users.
- Provide timely updates on the status of ongoing maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to address user-reported issues.
8. Version Control:
- Manage version control systems to track changes and updates to software components.
- Ensure proper branching and tagging strategies for maintenance releases.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in retrospectives to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Proactively recommend and implement enhancements to prevent recurring issues.
Qualification:
- Preferably DAE, bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, MA English, or a related field.
- Preferably experience in software maintenance, debugging, and issue resolution, CSR.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent in English and collaboration skills.
