As we expand, we’re looking for a WordPress E-commerce Developer who also understands SEO fundamentals to join our talented in-house team.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled developer who can manage, optimize, and scale e-commerce websites on WordPress, particularly using WooCommerce. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, technically sound, and able to collaborate effectively with our SEO, design, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress e-commerce websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to suit project needs and client branding.
- Integrate and manage payment gateways, shipping options, and third-party APIs.
- Identify and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with SEO and design teams to implement best practices and enhance UX/UI.
- Monitor website performance and continuously optimize for speed and conversions.
Requirements:
· At least 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development, especially with e-commerce sites.
· Solid knowledge of WooCommerce and other essential WordPress plugins.
· Familiarity with SEO-friendly development practices.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A portfolio showcasing your WordPress e-commerce projects is required.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Experience working on fashion or retail e-commerce websites.
- Familiarity with tools like Rank Math, Yoast SEO, or Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
