- To assist in providing necessary inputs through analytics for managing the Product Program for UAE (all emirates) and IBG, including other geographies as operations expand.
- Perform Portfolio Analytics to identify areas of "Risk" and "Growth" to facilitate policy changes.
- Analyze tests within the product to explore growth segments and conduct stress tests on the portfolio & risk-based segmentation.
- Monitor portfolio growth and direction, generating MIS for outcomes.
- Support automation of credit policies and parameters for lending.
- Automation would include preparing the complete test scripts for UAT, testing of the required development as and when required, review and recommend updated to ensure maximum automation which reduces manual intervention.
- Assist in the review of the existing systems available and highlight to the policy manager in cases of any discrepancies between the existing policies and the approved policies.
- Support the policy manager and ensure Active involvement with collections and recovery to develop procedures / strategies to cure bad credits and incorporate insights into enhanced underwriting standards.
- Support policy managers in monitoring portfolio quality by analyzing available data.
- Come up with implementable solutions to address asset quality issues in acquisition as well as existing portfolio of retail asset products.
- Assist in meetings for policy preparation and modification based on market requirements and portfolio performance.
- Draft policies/guidelines for product programs, new launches, and target segments
- Track and follow up on system change requests to meet changing business needs, improving risk management, and liaising with respective units.
- Ensure policy implementation is completed within approved timelines. Highlight exceptions to the Policy Manager for necessary approvals.
- Liaise with Retail Risk team to ensure the availability of data for comprehensive reporting.
- Collaborate with Collections and the Credit Initiation Unit to recommend improvements for effective policy implementation.
- Submit MIS reports to internal departments and external agencies within stipulated deadlines.
- Hands on experience in SAS, Hadoop, Hive
- Graduate degree in finance, engineering, business or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in best practices in credit and underwriting.
- In-depth knowledge of banking operations, sales, and customer-focused environments.
- 3–5 years of experience in banking/financial services, including credit analysis, statistical analysis, and leadership roles.
