This is a remote role.
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive our expansion efforts by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will initiate meaningful conversations, build a strong pipeline of qualified leads, and create conversion-ready opportunities for our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a strategic approach to prospecting, and a demonstrated ability to exceed business targets in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Generate Leads: Research and identify potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Qualify Opportunities: Engage prospects to understand their needs and determine fit with our solutions.
- Schedule Meetings/Demos: Book qualified appointments for the sales team to advance the pipeline.
- Maintain CRM Hygiene: Accurately track all activities (calls, emails, meetings) in [CRM, e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot].
- Collaborate with Sales/Marketing: Work closely with teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Meet KPIs: Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates.
Requirements:
- 2 years in sales, business development, or a related role (sales etc).
- Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting abilities.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and active listening.
- Ability to navigate objections and articulate value propositions.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Self-starter, resilient, goal-oriented, and team player.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
