We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled and creative Culinary Chef who is passionate about food innovation and maintaining the highest standards in food preparation and presentation.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Culinary Chef to manage and execute daily kitchen operations, innovate menu offerings, and ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of every dish served. The ideal candidate must be creative, organized, and have a strong understanding of modern culinary techniques, local and international cuisines, and kitchen leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute creative, seasonal, and consistent menus in alignment with restaurant themes.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation to ensure quality, cleanliness, and timely service.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards in terms of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Manage inventory, monitor kitchen supplies, and place orders to maintain stock levels.
- Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards as per local health regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop skill sets and improve kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget compliance without compromising quality.
- Adapt to customer feedback and changing culinary trends to continuously enhance offerings.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager for smooth daily operations and special events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Culinary Chef / Sous Chef or equivalent (minimum 4–6 years).
- Formal culinary education or diploma/certification in Food & Beverage or Hospitality (preferred).
- Expertise in continental, fusion, and local Pakistani cuisines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a high-pressure environment.
- Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in premium or fine-dining restaurants will be an advantage.
