Job Purpose
To perform & supervise the electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and testing activities. This includes smooth operations and continuous improvement of Site Electrical system. The role requires close working and alignment with the other departments at site.
Education, Experience & Skills
- DAE - Electrical is required for this role.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ensure effective communication with teams, contractors, and stakeholders to enable seamless collaboration and understanding of electrical system requirements.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving by anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and addressing maintenance issues efficiently.
- Promote collaboration by creating a supportive environment that prioritizes teamwork to uphold safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure all electrical systems (HV/LV Panels, Transformers, Generators, UPSs, Portable
- Appliances, ATEX Rated Equipment, Solar Systems, Diesel Transfer Pumps, Lightening Systems, Earthing Systems) are working smoothly with proper maintenance as per site CMMS.
- Ensure that Adherence of PM checklist as per plan. Use of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and execute Maintenance Workorder timely.
- Ensure Electrical Safety is top priority when operating, maintaining, upgrading and monitoring any Electrical system. Gain knowledge of Global Engineering Standards related to Electrical Systems and ensure compliance.
- Ensure strict compliance to Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and Permit to Work protocols.
- Be an advocate and role model of Electrical Safety at Site Co-ordinate with other units to ensure build-up of teamwork.
- To Identify & contribute to cost saving Projects.
- Ensure that all electrical inventory in stores must be updated and inform relevant person if item needs to be ordered
- Execute actions related Electrical which are derived from deviations, audits, inspections and risks.
- Supervise out-sourced electrical contractors and ensure safe working conditions.
