Job Title: Expert International Roaming Segments

What will Expert International Roaming Segments do?

Expert International Roaming Segment will be responsible for driving commercial performance, analytics, and strategic optimization within the roaming domain at Jazz.

This role sits within the Marketing Department and plays a critical part in shaping the roaming strategy through data-driven insights, partner performance analysis, and customer behavior trends.

The roaming function is commercially focused and accountable for revenue growth, usage penetration, customer retention, and proposition development—delivering targeted, analytics-led strategies for both outbound and inbound roaming segments.

The structure of the team you will join is:

• A 5 member team (including the department head)
• You will be part of a 4 member sub-team reporting to segment head

Roaming Revenue & Usage Growth:

Driving outbound and inbound roaming revenue by increasing package uptakes, usage penetration, and enhanced engagement through targeted, market-aligned strategies.

• Analysis and working on the top vendors for best roaming solutions
• Conducting data-driven vendor analysis to secure optimal roaming solutions with top partners.
• Leading initiatives to align roaming products and experiences with market trends and traveller expectation.

Data-Driven Proposition & Pricing Optimization:

• Research and analysis on International Roaming Portfolio and exploring the business growth opportunities.
• Leveraging analytics to refine roaming bundles, zonal pricing, and customer journeys—ensuring competitive positioning and enhanced traveller experience.
• Performing market and competitor analysis to devise revenue growth plans.
• Driving revenue enhancement plans based on usage patterns, market shifts, and pricing elasticity.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Partnering with Revenue Assurance team to proactively minimize leakage and ensure revenue integrity.
• Liaising with foreign telecom operators for onboarding, bilateral agreements, and launch of new roaming services.
• Collaborating with technical teams to enable seamless network configurations, signalling updates, and successful service testing for new roaming partners and product launches.
• Working with Finance on monthly credit note settlements, vendor accruals (IOTs), and invoice verifications.
• Coordinating with DCH/FCH and roaming partners to resolve RAPs (rejected TAP files) and ensure billing accuracy.
• Supporting Customer Care and Technical Support in timely resolution of roaming-related complaints.

Operational Oversight of IR Processes

• Ensuring timely updates of international roaming tariffs, bundles, and offers across all customer-facing platforms.
• Reviewing and managing contractual documentation with roaming partners in coordination with the Legal team.
• Overseeing monthly invoicing and reconciliation with roaming vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintaining a comprehensive and organized repository of agreements, amendments, IR21s, and AA14s via the internal online portal.

Key Focus Areas for the Year:

Enhance Retention & Acquisition of High-Value Roaming Users – Strengthening engagement strategies for frequent travelers and premium segments by offering competitive roaming bundles, loyalty incentives, and seamless lifecycle management across key corridors.

Increase ARPU & Revenue Contribution from Roaming – Utilizing data-driven insights, travel behavior analytics, and targeted CVM interventions to boost roaming monetization, drive pack activations, and maximize subscriber lifetime value.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert International Roaming Segments?

• Experience and Educational Requirements: Bachelors/ Masters from a recognized institute preferably in Economics, Maths, Business or management sciences.
• 6+ years of experience in Telecom industry with minimum of 2 years in International Roaming.
• Sound understanding of International Roaming Business with understanding of market trends and needs
• Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement; the candidate must be extremely proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.  Expertise in advanced analytical tools such as Power BI and tableau will be plus.
• Have sound analytical abilities, problem identification, and resolution skills, and creative/consumer insights abilities.
• Have strong organizational alignment skills to develop and deliver against key strategies.
• Soft skills and technical skills required.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and work closely with a diverse, cross-functional team of professionals.
