We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, monthly closings, and financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all accounting records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain compliance with local accounting regulations and tax laws.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor and manage company expenses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or trading environment.
