Job Title: Procurement Officer(Night shift Onsite job)
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous deals.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records.
- Evaluate vendor performance and resolve issues related to quality, delays, or pricing.
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal guidelines.
- Prepare cost analyses and reports to support budgeting and decision-making.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field.
- Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPP, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Experience in [industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, or IT] procurement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
