Job Purpose
- Ensure service stability, uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA
- Provide L3 support in the respective support area and act on technical escalations
- Provide on-call support, BAU and projects
- Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements
- Manage and closely work with application teams by supporting J2EE platforms
- Opex (AMC) management for Middleware products in J2EE platforms
- Capex management for Middleware products in J2EE platforms
- Upgrade of Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat
- Installation, Deployment and configurations for Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat License compliance
- Audit management for J2EE platforms
- Incident, Change and Problem Management for J2EE platforms
- Cross Platforms support for Unix, Storage, Virtualization, Database
- Vulnerability remediations
- Baseline Hardening
- Disaster recovery, planning, automation and management
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in J2EE platforms support in a large-scale environment
- Skills On-prem and Cloud environments
- Skills in architecting, implementing and providing post implementation support
- Ensure on time service delivery to internal and external customers
- Exposure in large-scale upgrades, migrations and transitions in the support area.
- Security implementation of the products coming under the portfolio
- Problem, Incident, escalation and change management in line with ITIL process
- Adoption of new technologies and open-source support
- Strong Technical Skills in below:
- Full Exposure in WebLogic, WebSphere and JBOSS
- Upgrade Planning and cross platform migration
- J2EE Database Connectivity
- J2EE Application Deployment
- Application Security
- Compliance standards like PCI-DSS and CIS baselines
- Backup Restorage Management of J2EE - Certificate Management
