Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Senior SEO Link Builder to lead and scale our off-page SEO initiatives. You will be responsible for developing link-building strategies, managing junior team members, and ensuring that high-authority, white-hat links are acquired consistently to improve domain authority and organic visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and optimize comprehensive white-hat link-building campaigns.
- Develop scalable outreach strategies for guest posting, resource page link acquisition, HARO/Help A Reporter Out submissions, digital PR, and influencer collaboration.
- Identify high-authority link opportunities through advanced competitor and industry analysis.
- Manage relationships with publishers, editors, bloggers, and other digital platforms.
- Supervise and mentor junior link builders, reviewing their work and improving outreach quality.
- Maintain and track all outreach efforts, backlink profiles, and KPIs using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Pitchbox, or BuzzStream.
- Analyze link-building impact through regular backlink audits, link toxicity reviews, and anchor text analysis.
- Collaborate with SEO strategists, content teams, and designers to plan link-worthy assets (e.g., infographics, data-driven content, ebooks).
- Ensure all acquired links follow Google Webmaster Guidelines and avoid spammy or black-hat practices.
- Stay on top of Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on link-building and SEO experience.
- Proven track record of acquiring high-authority links in diverse niches.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools: Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, BuzzStream, Pitchbox, Hunter.io.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for personalized outreach.
- Experience managing junior team members or freelancers.
- Ability to identify and disavow toxic backlinks.
- Deep understanding of white-hat SEO practices and Google’s E-E-A-T principles.
- Analytical mindset with experience reporting on link-building performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or IT.
- Experience working in an agency setting or managing multiple client campaigns.
- Familiarity with backlink schema, digital PR tactics, or international SEO.
