Position Overview
AHOY is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist & Strategist to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance our clients' online presence. If you have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and on-page and off-page optimization, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage effective SEO strategies to improve online visibility and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Perform on-page optimization including meta tags, content optimization, and internal linking.
- Analyze competitor strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance and growth metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
- Optimize website architecture to enhance user experience and searchability.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement necessary improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Strategist, or similar role.
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
