Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (Sr. SDR) to join our Final Expense telesales campaign. As a Sr. SDR, you will play a critical role in our sales pipeline by engaging with warm and cold leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up high-quality sales opportunities for closers or taking the sale to close yourself. This position requires advanced communication skills, strong objection handling, and in-depth product knowledge of Final Expense insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to warm and cold leads using a predictive or auto-dialer system.
- Educate prospects on Final Expense insurance benefits and build rapport quickly.
- Qualify leads through needs analysis, budget discussion, and decision-maker identification.
- Transfer qualified leads to licensed insurance agents or close the sale (if licensed and authorized).
- Maintain detailed notes in CRM and ensure accurate data entry.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and conversion targets.
- Mentor junior SDRs, support onboarding, and share best practices with the team.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to provide feedback for script improvement and process optimization.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, compliance regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of SDR or telesales experience in the insurance industry (preferably Final Expense or Life Insurance).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance benchmarks.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment.
- Team-oriented with leadership potential and a proactive mindset.
