Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage a small inventory, and ensure efficient store performance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to maintain records and support reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day store activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage a small inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are addressed.
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries accurately.
- Maintain organized and clean storage and display areas.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock movement summaries using Excel.
- Create documentation and presentation materials as required in Word and PowerPoint.
- Assist with stock ordering and liaise with suppliers when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
- Provide support and direction to junior store staff (if applicable).
- Handle basic administrative tasks and maintain digital records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or business is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a retail or store supervision role.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using a computer for data entry, reporting, and communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods, if required
