In this role the incumbent will be responsible for supervision and authorization of all Non-STP transactions related to inward and outward remittances, clearing and all type of payment activities accurately and promptly without any error and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank’s policy.
The candidate should effectively monitor day to day transaction flow related to inward remittances and clearing (inward & outward), ensure processing of NSTP transactions within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Turn Around Time (TAT) ensuring effective service delivery to RBG customers, while aligning with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Ensuring Bank’s Compliance and Regulatory procedures all transactions are processed with zero errors within expected TAT.
Ensure settlement of respective GLs, daily transactions reconciliation and timely rectification of discrepancy observed while checking daily activity by engaging relevant team & partner.
Monitor and oversee transaction flow, review NSTP SWIFT payment messages and ensure its completeness, ensure cover funds through MT-940, manage repairs through stringent follow-up with respective stakeholders.
Authorize transactions within defined Turnaround Times (TATs), ensure completeness of required documents, refer exceptions to DBC team for necessary approvals arrangement of required documents from customer and keep strong follow-up for closures.
Ensure that dispute/claims are timely resolved by engaging internal stakeholders and external partners (for outward clearing), manage ITRS and other regulatory reporting within required TAT to avoid delays or regulatory penalties.
Ensure timely compliance of observations raised by internal/external audits.
Work closely with line manager in evaluating the need for process rationalization.
Graduate with a profound and in-depth understanding of Banking Operations, specially Remittances and clearing. This knowledge is crucial in navigating the intricate landscape of digital banking.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Payment Operations and 3 years of experience in supervisory role.
• Awareness of Compliance/ AML & CFT regulations/ Regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership skills coupled with a sharp intellect, embodying the role of a disciplined agent of change in the digital banking landscape.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication abilities, effective team player and ability to take swift decisions. These skills facilitate collaboration and innovation within the digital banking team.
