Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Upwork Bidder with a strong understanding of software development projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable projects, crafting tailored proposals, and securing leads on platforms like Upwork and similar freelancing portals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant software development projects (web, mobile, SaaS, etc.)
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to create accurate proposals
- Write compelling and customized cover letters and responses
- Maintain and manage communication with prospective clients
- Maintain daily bidding targets and conversion goals
- Schedule meetings and hand over qualified leads to the sales/technical team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Upwork bidding, particularly for software development
- Strong understanding of technologies like JavaScript, Python, PHP, or frameworks such as React, Laravel, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and convey technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with Upwork algorithms and best practices
