Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:Identify and target potential clients in the [industry/sector] to expand the client base.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
Upwork Expertise:Possess a deep understanding of the Upwork platform, including its features, functionalities, and best practices.
Utilize Upwork as a strategic tool for client acquisition and project management.
Stay updated on Upwork trends, policies, and changes to optimize the company's presence and performance on the platform.
Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Analyze client needs and industry trends to tailor business development strategies accordingly.
Stay informed about market conditions, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Proposal Development and Presentation:Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing the company's value proposition.
Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to create materials that effectively communicate the company's capabilities.
Deliver engaging presentations to clients, highlighting the company's strengths and solutions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective business development strategies.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales plans that contribute to overall company objectives.
Reporting and Analysis:Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
Provide regular reports to the management team on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Upwork platform.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated.
