We are seeking a skilled Copywriter with 3-5 years of experience in writing engaging, persuasive, and clear content. You will be responsible for developing copy for a variety of digital marketing channels including emails, websites, landing pages, blogs, ad copies, and other forms of digital content.
As part of our marketing team, you will play a key role in helping to amplify our brand voice, drive customer engagement, and contribute to the success of our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread content for various online platforms such as the company website, email campaigns, landing pages, blogs, ad copies, and press releases.
- Brand Voice & Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the company’s voice, values, and tone, while also maintaining a high standard of quality and clarity.
- SEO Optimization: Craft SEO-friendly content by researching keywords, optimizing copy for search engines, and ensuring content ranks well on relevant search platforms.
- Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan, and execute content for online campaigns. Contribute to creative ideation sessions and offer ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Content Strategy: Assist in the development of content strategies that engage audiences, improve customer retention, and increase conversion rates.
- Research & Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and content creation, and bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze content performance metrics to assess the impact of your copy and contribute to improving future content strategies.
- Content Editing & Quality Control: Review content created by other team members or departments to ensure consistency in tone, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to the company’s guidelines and style guides.
- A/B Testing & Copy Optimization: Participate in A/B testing for email campaigns, landing pages, and ads, providing insights and suggestions to improve the performance and effectiveness of the content.
- User-Centered Writing: Create content with the user experience in mind, ensuring copy is clear, concise, and actionable, ultimately improving conversion rates and engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., product teams, sales) to gather insights and understand product updates, so the copy remains relevant and aligned with business goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in copywriting, particularly in creating digital content (blogs, articles, press releases, website copy, landing pages, ad copy).
- Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Ability to write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for diverse audiences.
- SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and the ability to apply them to digital content creation.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and bring fresh, original ideas to content, while aligning with business goals and target audience needs.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in both writing and editing.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Framer), email marketing platforms (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign), Google Analytics, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2B or B2C marketing content.
- Familiarity with paid media (Google Ads, social media ads) and how ad copywriting influences campaign performance.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for formatting content in email templates or websites.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing content for higher conversion rates.
