We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller with a strong understanding of international markets to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on cross-border financial operations and reporting. This role will be responsible for overseeing and improving financial processes, ensuring compliance with international financial regulations, and providing actionable insights to support global business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements for international operations, including UAE and USA accounting systems.
- Analyze financial data across global markets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure proper consolidation and reporting of multi-currency transactions.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for international business units.
- Monitor budget performance and provide insightful variance analysis to senior management.
3. International Accounting Compliance
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.) and local financial regulations in jurisdictions such as the UAE and USA.
- Manage tax reporting and compliance across multiple regions, liaising with external auditors and tax consultants as required.
4. Cash Flow Management
- Oversee international cash flow, monitor foreign exchange risks, cross-border transactions, and working capital requirements.
- Optimize liquidity and ensure adequate financing across all operational regions.
5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets in international markets.
- Identify and implement process improvements and financial best practices across departments.
6. Interdepartmental Collaboration & Team Management
- Work closely with international finance teams, operations, and other departments to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Demonstrate effective interdepartmental communication and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven capability in setting up financial operations from scratch and contributing to scalable growth.
7. Financial Systems & Tools
- Utilize financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, advanced Excel) for automation and consistency in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support digital transformation initiatives across finance functions.
8. Leadership & Development
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance staff.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the finance team.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial management, accounting, or auditing, with exposure to international operations, particularly in the UAE and USA.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and regional financial regulations.
- Familiarity with UAE and USA financial and taxation systems.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
- Proficient in ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Excel).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
- Skilled in managing operations from inception and building financial structures from the ground up.
- Knowledge of FX risk management and multi-currency accounting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month
