The Costing Executive is responsible for accurately calculating the cost of printed and packaged products to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client specifications to estimate material, labor, and production costs.
- Prepare quotations and costing sheets for the sales team.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to gather real-time cost inputs.
- Update and maintain cost databases, including price fluctuations in raw materials.
- Monitor job profitability and compare estimated vs actual costs.
- Support the sales team in price negotiations and client queries.
- Work with the finance team to analyze margins and cost control measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Printing Technology, or related field.
- 4–5 years of costing experience in the packaging or printing industry.
- Strong understanding of offset printing processes and packaging materials.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
