Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled US experienced Cost Estimator - (General Contractor - Dry Wall) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and supporting project planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Prepare detailed scope of work, quantity take offs and cost estimations by studying semantics and 3D rendered designs
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and adherence to project requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials costs, and construction methods to provide accurate estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and stakeholders to address questions and concerns regarding project costs and budgets.
- Assist in project planning and scheduling by providing accurate cost estimates and value engineering recommendations.
- Participate in project meetings and reviews to provide insight into cost-related issues and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. Proficient in English Language.
3. Proven experience as a construction estimator in residential construction.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
5. Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, RSMeans, AutoCad, Planswift, Prima Vera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in the night shift and meet tight deadlines.
9. Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs1.00 - Rs3.00 per month
