Role Description:
Project Management and Delivery:
- Delivery: Ensure that all payment solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Project Management Framework: Ensure adherence to enterprise project management & technology standards and best practices.
- Co-ordination: Coordinate for the software development of custom solutions based on client-specific needs, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption to operations.
- Solution Review: Test & Review End-to-End solution to ensure quality and completeness.
Solutioning:
- Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technology solutions that facilitate card issuing, merchant acquiring, and third-party processing services.
- Integrations: Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with other banking platforms and third-party services.
- Best Practices: Conduct performance optimization and implement best practices to enhance reliability and scalability.
Client Interaction & Analysis:
- Evaluate client needs: Understand business processes, existing systems, and future requirements.
- Document Requirements: Create detailed documentation of client requirements.
- Advising: Act as Subject Matter Expert among stakeholders to ensure high-quality solution delivery. Offer expert advice on application deployment, integration, and modifications.
- Presenting solutions: Provide demonstrations and presentations of potential solutions to clients.
Technical Expertise:
- Design and implementation: Design and implement application solutions tailored to client needs.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support and troubleshoot application issues.
- Testing: Perform Sanity testing to verify software performance and functionality.
- Integration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
- Customization: Customize applications to meet specific client requirements while maintaining adequate alignment with Product Roadmap.
Support & Training:
- End-user training: Provide training to users on how to effectively use applications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications.
- Best practices: Advise on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Staying informed: Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in Payments Domain and Application Delivery.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaboration with teams: Work Closely with Product Owners, Security, Compliance, Developers and Clients to define and implement Solutions.
- Communication: Clearly communicate technical solutions and recommendations to clients.
- Mentoring: Share knowledge and mentor other team members.
- Solution Review: Actively participate in Solution reviews and Product Roadmap forum.
Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of ATM/POS switching, Card Issuance/Management, Digital Channels interface, Encryption, HSM and ISO8583 messaging standards.
- Familiarity with EMV Contact/Contactless, VISA and MasterCard Card Issuing & Acquiring, Scheme compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Web Service integration and API’s.
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, Agile and other modern approaches to software development).
- Excellent in preparing the Solution Architecture document, Functional and Technical Specs.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Familiarity in Programming Languages and other emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with Cloud Services.
