Role description
Develop, test, debug, and document mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
Work independently with minimal guidance, ensuring high-quality, optimized code.
Understand business requirements and contribute to component and feature development.
Manage defects, estimate task efforts, and comply with release and configuration processes.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing.
Preferred familiarity with Agile methodologies and customer domain knowledge.
