Qualification: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector, with a strong background in PET bottling lines (Krones/Sidel preferred).
Main Purpose of the Job:
An E&A Engineer is responsible for managing and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems for processing and aseptic PET filling lines. The role supports safe, cost-effective, and high-quality operations in line with Nestlé’s performance and compliance standards.
A Day in the life of an E&A Engineer:
- Plan and oversee the operation and preventive maintenance schedules of the aseptic PET bottling line.
- Monitor the execution and effectiveness of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- Collaborate with project teams for upgrades, capacity expansion, and optimization initiatives.
- Train and develop technical staff in safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Prepare and review short- and long-term operational plans in coordination with the department head.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Import, and Local Procurement teams to ensure availability of critical spares.
- Manage relationships with in-house and third-party contractors for specialized maintenance services.
- Support the Head of Department in preparing the annual maintenance budget and cost control.
- Lead implementation of Nestlé Safety and Environmental (S&E) standards; ensure compliance with statutory and internal safety regulations.
- Strictly abide by the WHO and Local Code in the execution of his/her job in its letter and spirit. Will be prohibited from making any direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children in their business capacity.
Are you a fit?
- A solid foundation in Siemens PLCs (S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200) and Rockwell Automation systems.
- Proficiency in instrumentation and process control systems used in modern bottling/processing environments.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and automation issues under time constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Proven ability to lead shift teams and collaborate across functions including Quality, Production, Engineering, and EHS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Extensive collaboration and communication with corporate team (Brand. CQA, Procurement, consumer services).
- Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
