Role Summary
This is more than just admin, we’re looking for someone to run day-to-day operations, engage with customers, and proactively generate new business. You’ll be managing everything from appointment booking and product listings to cold outreach and sales tracking.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Administration
- Respond to customer messages (calls, email, WhatsApp, social media) professionally and quickly
- Book appointments and services, send confirmations, and follow up
- Maintain client records, files, and contact logs
- Assist with invoicing, quote creation, and payment follow-ups
Sales & Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential business clients (e.g. landlords, retail shops, cafés, construction firms)
- Cold call and message prospects to introduce VOLTANEST’s services
- Warm up leads and pass them to the UK sales team or book consultations directly
- Keep track of leads, follow-ups, and results using a CRM or tracker
- Help upsell or renew services for previous clients
E-Commerce & Product Management
- Update and manage website product listings (e.g. CCTV kits, accessories, EPOS tills)
- Process online orders, returns, and customer queries
- Track stock levels and alert for restocking
- Coordinate with suppliers on product availability and delivery status
Marketing & Social Media
- Create and schedule Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook posts
- Reply to comments, engage with followers, and build our online brand
- Help produce flyers, ads, or social media campaigns using Canva or similar tools
- Assist in gathering photo/video content from job sites for promotions
Operations & Scheduling
- Help manage engineer and contractor schedules
- Reschedule or follow up on missed appointments
- Prepare daily or weekly task lists based on jobs booked and stock needed
Business Development Support
- Monitor Google reviews and respond to client feedback
- Request new reviews from happy clients
- Research competitors, pricing, and industry trends
- Find opportunities to list VOLTANEST in directories or online marketplaces
- Identify local UK trade shows or networking events we can attend or advertise in
Key Skills & Requirements
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills — especially on the phone
- Comfortable with Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, Canva, and online tools
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and social media
- Proactive, reliable, organised, and eager to learn
- Experience with sales or lead gen is a big plus (but not required — we’ll train)
