Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites using both pre-built themes and custom HTML/CSS.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to create visually appealing and highly functional websites.
- Implement website builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery to design and layout web pages.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
- Ensure website security by implementing best practices and regular updates.
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs to enhance website functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve development processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with at least 3+ years of experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Experience with website builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, etc.
- Ability to create custom themes and plugins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WooCommerce and other eCommerce plugins.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
