We are currently seeking a Taxation Officer to join our finance team to ensure compliance with tax laws and contribute to our financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely working and accurate filing of all tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax & Withholding Tax statements).
- Tax correspondence with FBR, PRA, SRB, KPRA and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and review tax reconciliations, tax provisions, and withholding tax calculations.
- Manage tax audits and assessments, including gathering documentation and assisting with tax consultants & communicating with authorities.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.
- Support internal and external audits related to taxation.
- Coordinate with external consultants and legal advisors on complex tax issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or relevant professional certifications preferred).
- Min 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws, regulations, and FBR e-filing systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
