Develop and test new food products and recipes based on market trends and customer demand. Improve existing food products in terms of taste, texture, nutrition, shelf life, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and product trials. Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.). Work with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, marketing, and quality assurance. Maintain accurate documentation of formulas, processes, and trial results. Research and source new ingredients or raw materials. Troubleshoot and resolve production or quality issues related to formulation. Stay updated on food regulations, industry innovations, and emerging technologies. Support product labeling, nutritional calculations, and regulatory compliance.
