Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle of game projects from concept to post-launch. Ensure high-quality delivery within time, budget, and scope constraints while maintaining the creative vision.
- Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps, timelines, and sprint plans. Track progress and deliverables, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to keep development on track.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—designers, artists, developers, QA, audio engineers, and marketing—to ensure alignment and smooth communication. Foster a collaborative, productive environment that encourages innovation.
- Define clear deliverables, success criteria, and milestones. Monitor internal deliverables and third-party contributions to ensure high-quality results.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, publishing partners, or external vendors. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Anticipate production risks, dependencies, and technical limitations. Propose actionable solutions to maintain production velocity without compromising creative integrity.
- Assist with post-launch efforts, including patches, live events, monetization strategies, and player feedback integration to sustain user engagement.
- Advocate for the end-user experience, ensuring that all production decisions are made with the player in mind. Regularly incorporate feedback from playtesting and analytics.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date production documentation including GDDs, project charters, retrospectives, sprint reports, and risk logs.
- Act as a gaming ambassador within the team—actively playing and analyzing games across genres, contributing fresh insights, and staying current on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in game production, project coordination, or product management within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines, tools, and workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), sprint planning, and retrospective processes.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Miro, etc.).
- Working knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is highly desirable.
- A deep passion for gaming is essential—whether you're into AAA titles, indie games, esports, or mobile gaming.
