Payroll Management:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of salaries.
- Verify and process payroll data, including employee time and attendance, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees.
Tax Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax requirements, including the accurate calculation and reporting of taxes.
- Prepare and file tax reports and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Software Proficiency:
- Utilize and manage HCM software to process payroll and maintain accurate records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll software and collaborate with the software development team to enhance functionality.
- Train and support users of the payroll system, providing guidance on system features and processes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date records of payroll transactions and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Client Support:
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients regarding payroll and tax-related queries.
- Assist clients in optimizing their use of HCM software to improve payroll efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in payroll management.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with HCM software systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
