We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional who understands the fast-paced environment of the travel industry and can effectively manage HR operations while supporting our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes specific to travel and tourism roles.
- Manage HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and travel industry regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads (ticketing, reservations, visa, tour operations, etc.) to understand hiring needs.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and employee development plans.
- Organize training and development programs focused on customer service, travel systems (e.g., GDS/Amadeus), and destination knowledge.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases (e.g., attendance, leave, payroll coordination).
- Monitor and improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HR standards and practices, especially those relevant to travel and tourism staff.
- Coordinate with finance for salary processing, incentives, and commission structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of HR experience in a travel agency or travel company
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, recruitment for travel-specific roles, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, HRMS tools, and familiar with travel software systems is a plus.
- Understanding of visa processing, international staffing, or multilingual teams is a bonus.
