The Department of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital, comprises of independent sections of Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The Department has over 70+ full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology and Dermatology, as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology and Infectious Diseases.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Instructor in Section of Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
provide accessible, compassionate, ethical, evidence based and patient centered care to all
patients in the medicine set-up
teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates according to the defined standards and curriculum
do clinical research related to Medicine
participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement activates
supervise residents/medical officers and help them in patients care and performing procedures
act as a liaison person between and faculty when required
help in conducting end of rotation exam of undergraduate students
participate in CME activities of Section
participate in the clinical research
participate in the sectional, departmental, and organizational research activates
facilitate PGME trainees in research.
Requirements:
You should have:
an MBBS degree
FCPS/FRCP/American Boards in any Medicine Specialty
1 year house job
structured Medicine Residency Program
had addition training as a fellow/equivalent for a minimum of 2 years in a reputable institution, and/or a diploma in the appropriate field
demonstrated scholarship either through research and publications in peer reviewed indexed journals or by virtue of substantial contributions to education.
