Job Description:
- Assist employees with basic hardware, software, network, and account access issues via helpdesk tickets, phone, email, and I.T Support bridges (Tier 1 Support).
- Diagnose and resolve common technical problems under guidance (e.g., printer issues, software installation errors, connectivity problems).
- Help deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of standard business applications (Microsoft 365, antivirus, VPN clients).
- Assist in tracking IT assets (hardware, software licenses) using inventory systems.
- Meeting Support: Provide basic AV setup and troubleshooting for conference rooms and virtual meetings.
- Shadow senior IT staff to learn advanced troubleshooting, system administration tasks, and network fundamentals.
Qualifications:
- Bachlelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and common troubleshooting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
