Job Summary:
The Junior Ticketing Officer will support the ticketing team in booking and issuing domestic and international airline tickets, handling customer travel queries, and assisting in daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of GDS systems, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in booking, issuing, and canceling flight tickets (domestic & international).
- Provide accurate fare quotes and travel options to clients.
- Coordinate with airlines for flight changes, special requests, and fare confirmations.
- Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, refunds, and reissues.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally, in person and over the phone.
- Support senior staff in group bookings, itinerary planning, and corporate travel handling.
- Stay updated with airline policies, routes, and promotional fares.
- Ensure compliance with IATA and company ticketing procedures.
Requirements:
- Intermediate or Bachelor's degree (preferably in Travel, Tourism, or Business).
- 1–2 years of market experience in an airline or travel agency will be preferred.
- Familiarity with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure during busy travel seasons.
Job Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday off)
