About Us:
Oven n Grill is a growing fast-food restaurant committed to delivering freshly prepared meals with speed, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking motivated and reliable Fast Food Kitchen Helpers to support our kitchen operations in preparing pizza, burgers, fries, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pizza preparation, including dough handling, sauce spreading, topping arrangement, and proper baking procedures
- Support burger preparation by prepping patties, buns, sauces, and assembling items as per standard recipes
- Handle frying stations (e.g., fries, nuggets, wings), ensuring safe oil usage and timely output
- Keep workstations clean and organized before, during, and after shifts
- Perform basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, grating cheese, marinating meat, etc.
- Restock and refill kitchen ingredients and supplies during busy hours
- Maintain hygiene by washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, mopping kitchen floors, and disposing of waste correctly
- Assist in tracking food inventory and reporting shortages to supervisors
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitization
- Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors or chefs to support meal preparation and timely service
- Label and store leftovers or food items as per kitchen protocols
- Assist in packaging takeaway or delivery orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure timely setup of kitchen stations before operations begin
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Matriculation (Intermediate preferred)
- Experience: Minimum1 year in a restaurant, kitchen, or fast food environment
- Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of pizza/burger preparation is a plus
- Physically active and able to work on foot for long hours
- Familiarity with hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Team player with good time management
- Willingness to work late hours, weekends, and public holidays
