What is Lead Integrated Media & Brand Partnerships?

The Lead Integrated Media & Brand Partnerships role requires strategic mindset and deep expertise in media planning, buying, execution along with analysis across both traditional and digital channels. This role requires a professional who can manage and collaborate with media agencies, ensuring optimal media mix, efficiency, and ROI-driven campaigns. Additionally, the role will require managing brand partnerships, leveraging collaborations to amplify brand reach and engagement.

This position contributes significantly to brand love and customer engagement, aligning with the company’s broader goals of empowering a digital financially enabled Pakistan.

The role reports directly to the Head of Markerting and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Product and more. It is an individually contributing role requiring a combination of creativity, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.

What does a Lead Integrated Media & Brand Partnerships do?

Media Strategy, Planning & Buying

·       Develop and execute a 360-degree media strategy, integrating traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH, cinema) and digital (social, search, programmatic, influencer) channels.

·       Oversee media planning and buying processes to ensure effective budget allocation, audience targeting, and optimal channel mix.

·       Manage relationships with media agencies, ensuring high-quality execution, negotiation of rates, and alignment with business objectives.

·       Track media trends, consumer behavior, and emerging platforms to optimize media investments.

Media Agency & Performance Management

·       Act as the primary liaison between the brand and media agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and accountability on KPIs.

·       Oversee campaign execution, media placements, and real-time optimizations based on performance metrics.

·       Evaluate media agencies’ performance, efficiency, and ROI through post-campaign analysis and competitive benchmarking.

·       Lead annual media reviews, negotiations, and agency pitches to ensure the best media partnerships.

 

Digital & Traditional Media Optimization

·       Drive performance marketing strategies, ensuring a balance between brand-building and conversion-driven activities.

·       Ensure seamless integration of traditional and digital media for holistic, full-funnel campaigns.

·       Leverage data-driven insights to improve targeting, audience segmentation, and attribution modeling.

·       Oversee programmatic buying, ensuring efficiency in digital ad spend.

 

Partnerships & Collaborations:

·       Develop long-term partnerships for collaborative campaigns with key industry players, digital platforms, influencers, and media networks to enhance brand visibility, affinity and engagement.

·       Negotiate partnership terms, agreements, and revenue-sharing models, ensuring mutual growth, value proposition and measurable outcomes.

·       Monitor partnership performance and analyze key metrics to evaluate the success of collaborations.

·       Act as a brand ambassador, representing the organization’s values and vision in all external engagements.

 

Strategic Leadership:

·       Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling partnership proposals and consumer engagement plans.

·       Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify innovative opportunities.

·       Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment for partnerships with broader organizational goals.

·       Support in building a robust pool of third-party vendors capable of meeting the brand’s dynamic needs.

Measurement & Reporting

·       Own media effectiveness measurement, leveraging data analytics and reporting tools to assess campaign impact.

·       Provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders on media performance, competitive landscape, and industry benchmarks.

·       Continuously optimize media investments based on business objectives, consumer insights, and ROI analysis.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Lead Integrated Media & Brand Partnerships?

Educational Background:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

 Professional Experience:

·       6+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, buying, agency management (brand-side experience preferred) plus partnerships

·       Strong expertise in traditional and digital media ecosystems, including performance marketing.

·       Proven track record in managing media agencies, negotiating deals, and optimizing media spends.

·       Experience in brand partnerships, sponsorships, and media collaborations.

Skills and Competencies

·       Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret media data and consumer insights.

·       Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

·       Leadership and team management capabilities.

·       Proficiency in media tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, DSPs, and other analytics platforms.

·       Ability to manage large budgets and deliver ROI-driven media plans.

·       Problem-solving, crisis management handling and strategic thinking abilities.

·       Understanding of legal aspects related to partnerships, contracts, and agreements.
