About the Opportunity:
Zai Systems (SMC-PVT) LTD. is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic MERN Stack Developer Intern to join our remote development team. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are eager to apply their knowledge, sharpen their coding skills, and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This internship spans 3 to 4 months, is unpaid, and offers flexible working hours. Based on performance and commitment, selected interns may be considered for a full-time paid opportunity at the end of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to build efficient, reusable code.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues and improve performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and development trends.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git version control.
- Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Previous project work (personal or academic) using MERN stack is a plus.
