Responsibility:
- Supervision and Leadership: Oversee nursing staff during the night shift, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure effective team performance and patient care.
- Patient Care Management: Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, including monitoring patient conditions, managing admissions and discharges, and addressing any urgent medical needs.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and critical situations, making informed decisions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Staff Coordination: Manage staff assignments, facilitate communication among team members, and address any staffing issues or conflicts that arise.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and uphold regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid nursing license from the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in a hospital setting and previous supervisory or leadership roles.
