Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to transform large, complex datasets into insightful dashboards and reports for business decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions. This role involves the full BI development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, report creation, deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL (MySQL), Power Query, DAX, and data modeling, with a strong ability to write efficient queries, develop complex DAX measures, and optimize performance for accurate and reliable reporting.

- Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and document them in Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Perform ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Write and optimize SQL queries (MySQL) for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
- Use Power Query to clean, transform, and shape data efficiently.
- Develop efficient data models to support accurate and scalable reporting.
- Create and optimize complex DAX measures for advanced analytics and performance.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards with compelling visuals.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) for controlled data access.
- Publish, manage, and maintain reports on Power BI Service.
- Validate data accuracy and conduct quality assurance for reports.
- Optimize report performance by refining data models and DAX calculations.
- Ensure governance by maintaining documentation and standardizing Power BI solutions.
- Implement automation and monitoring for long-term stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and analysts.
- Manage multiple reporting requests efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SQL (MySQL) – query writing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
- Experience in writing complex, efficient DAX measures.
- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and best practices for access control.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end Power BI development, including publishing and maintenance.
- Ability to conduct data validation, quality assurance, and dashboard optimization.
- Excellent English language skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
