We required an experienced Production In-Charge for our manufacturing plant to lead the Confectionery & Snacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives production targets from production Manager, delegate production tasks to team leads and ensures proper staffing for all tasks
- Maintain all production documentation.
- Works with team to ensure all RM/PM required for production has been dropped to the production floor in the quantities required against production plan
- Sets up for each activity according to standard operating procedures
- Coaches team lead and line lead on set up processes and procedures to ensure that SOPs for line set up are followed
- Ensures workstations are setup for each production activity in a manner that correlates with production targets
- Monitors inventory and production schedules, checks logs, and receives incoming materials.
- Works with immediate supervisor and maintenance department to coordinate equipment repairs around production schedules.
- Safely produce the highest quality products possible at the lowest cost possible.
- Reach desired goals for housekeeping, safety, and quality.
- Ensure that all team members follow all company policies, practices and procedures.
Required Skills Excellent communication skills, Self-motivated and ability to lead and train team
The Production floor In charge must execute the production plan communicated by production Manager and supervise the Team Leads throughout the shift. He is also responsible for exhibiting a strong working knowledge of all machinery, equipment, and processes. The Floor In charge must be able to manage and troubleshoot all technological tools used in production
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in manufacturing, preferably within confectionery & Snacks
- Industry: FMCG Manufacturing ( Confectionery & Snacks experience preferred)
