- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, operations, and vendor teams
- Manage risks and issues, including identifying potential issues and developing contingency plan
- Monitor and track project progress, including creating and presenting regular project updates to stakeholder
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members, including coaching and development
- Manage project budgets, including tracking and forecasting costs
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data center upgrades and co-location projects
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- Ability to manage risks and issues, including identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans
- Experience leading teams, including the ability to motivate and direct project team members
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Experience in data center upgrades and co-location projects is preferred
- Strong Knowledge of ITSM (Service Now)
Certifications are preferred, but not required:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
