We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Supervisor to lead and oversee solar installation projects from planning to execution. As a Solar Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising on-site operations, managing installation teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with clients and internal departments for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise solar installation teams during residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local codes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and technicians for timely execution of project phases
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations
- Train and mentor field staff and ensure effective labor allocation
- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment on-site
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, manpower, material usage, and progress reports
- Liaise with clients during project implementation to ensure expectations are met
- Enforce health & safety policies and procedures strictly across all field operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in solar installation and project supervision
- In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and solar design plans
- Excellent knowledge of HSE standards, local regulations, and solar energy best practices
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope) is a plus
