Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and target-oriented Business Development and Sales Manager to drive growth across our portfolio of enterprise solutions, including ERP (SAP & Oracle), application development, business intelligence (BI), and other IT services. This role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing end-to-end sales processes, and developing strategic relationships across industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, healthcare, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development Strategy
Plan and execute sales and business development strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals for ERP and enterprise IT solutions.
- New Client Acquisition
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Industry Targeting & Outreach
Engage decision-makers and influencers in target industries, tailoring pitches and solutions to industry-specific needs.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Management
Manage the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, qualification, solution proposal, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, IT heads, and procurement teams.
- Collaborative Solutioning
Partner with pre-sales and delivery teams to develop customized, client-centric ERP and IT service solutions.
- RFP & Proposal Management
Respond to RFPs and RFIs, prepare impactful proposals and presentations, and drive contract negotiations.
- Sales Reporting & CRM Management
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and activity records using CRM and reporting tools.
- Market Insight & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on ERP trends (SAP & Oracle), licensing models, and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively.
- Networking & Brand Representation
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably in ERP and enterprise IT services.
- Strong understanding of SAP and Oracle ERP ecosystems, application development, and BI tools.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a solutions-based sales environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in mentoring or leading sales teams is a plus.
