Position: Backend Engineer
Location: Remote - Full time
What You'll Work On
As a Sr. Backend Engineer, you will:
Design and implement scalable backend systems to support web and mobile applications.
Leverage cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) to build secure, high-performance infrastructure. Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of distributed applications.
Collaborate with a team of engineers and data scientists to deliver new features, enhance existing systems, and prototype innovative ideas.
Core Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
5+ years of experience in software development with atleast
2+ years of hands-on experience with Python in Fast API/Flask/Django
2+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJs in ExpresssJS (typescript) or NestJS.
Backend engineering expertise: Proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, server-side architecture, API development, micro-service architecture
Cloud services experience: Hands-on expertise with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, Cognito, etc.) or equivalent platforms like GCP or Azure.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) is highly desirable.
Expertise in database design and optimization, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Front-end experience with React.js or VueJs is a plus.
