Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust web applications using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Design database structures, write efficient queries, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js, React, or similar) and designers to integrate APIs and UI components.
- Write clean, secure, well-documented code following Laravel and PHP best practices.
- Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in system architecture planning and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Stay up to date with the latest Laravel, PHP, and web development trends.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel framework and PHP (7.x or 8.x).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe, AWS, Twilio).
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies (Vue.js, React, Tailwind CSS) is a plus.
- Proficient in Git, GitHub/GitLab, and agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of application security principles (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.).
- Experience with queue systems (Redis, Laravel Horizon, etc.) and task scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Nova.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing (PHPUnit, Dusk).
- Previous experience leading Laravel projects or managing a small team.
- Contributions to open-source or Laravel community projects.
