Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and related technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following Laravel and PHP best practices.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
- Ensure software security and data protection best practices are followed.
- Guide and mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Maintain documentation of system architecture and development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Laravel (5.x to latest) with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or other front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Knowledge of queues, events, jobs, broadcasting, and other Laravel-specific features.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and design patterns.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms like AWS is a bonus.
- Ability to manage and lead small to mid-sized development teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
