About The Job:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the sales strategy of the company across all channels: general trade, modern trade, and wholesale. The candidates should be knowledgeable about modern market and general trade dynamics, distribution networks and best practices in team management. A leader who can inspire and motivate the team and ensure better performance and growth.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure sales targets are meant as per the timelines
· Communication with brand’s TMs and AMs and updating them timely on developments prospects
· Conduct budget reviews to ensure sales and marketing activities are in budget
· Closely monitor individual and team performance
· Ensure distribution set ups are working in line with company policy
· Expert in distribution management and network building
· Improve distribution channel and network
· Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
· Regularly follow-up performance and gauge weaknesses
· Specialist in shop network building and store-wise management of sales
· Specialist in building a deep penetration network across all sales channels
· Well versed with geographic knowledge and markets
Relevant Experience:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sector preferably in Homecare, Pulses
· Expert-level knowledge and understanding of the market landscape of GT and LMT
· In-depth knowledge of branding and positioning best practices in distribution
· Hands-on knowledge of Planning & Execution
