Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Shopify Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing all GK Hair Shopify stores across global locations. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement features, ensure platform stability, and continuously improve performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot all Shopify stores across all operational regions, ensuring a seamless and consistent customer experience.
- Implement new features, custom themes, and enhancements based on business and departmental requirements.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Design teams to deliver tailored experiences for each region and product line.
- Ensure platform speed, uptime, and responsiveness — adjusting based on traffic, user engagement, and business needs.
- Integrate third-party tools and applications, including payment gateways, CRMs, and automation tools.
- Follow best practices in development, testing, and deployment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Act promptly on requests from management regarding store updates, changes, or new rollouts across all Shopify locations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Shopify development.
- Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — especially when working with cross-departmental teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Shopify Plus and international e-commerce operations.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), Google Analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
- Understanding of SEO, site performance, and user experience principles.
