About Us:
Black Silk Studio is a UK-based digital marketing agency specializing in web development and digital marketing services. We are expanding our development team and are looking for a talented Shopify Liquid Developer to collaborate with us on various projects.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled developer with expertise in Shopify Liquid for ongoing task-based work. Projects will vary in scope and frequency, but the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify theming and customization, with a bonus if you also have experience in WordPress development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert designs from Figma to fully responsive Shopify themes
- Customize and develop Shopify stores using Liquid
- Implement new features and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate remotely with our design and project management teams
- Optional: Support WordPress development tasks when needed
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
- Experience converting Figma designs to Shopify themes
- Understanding of Shopify’s APIs and app integration
- WordPress knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and availability for remote coordination

- Task-based compensation with fixed payments per task (rates will be discussed per project)
